Join us for a service project and support your local community!
The Rotary Club of Jenkintown and Center School are planning a community service project in support of Center School and the Jenkintown Food Cupboard. It involves yard clean-up at Center School and collecting non-perishables for the Jenkintown Food Cupboard that provides food to 180 families in our community each week.
The Rotary Club will also be collecting contributions to the Polio Plus fund as part of their Global Polio Eradication Initiative to end polio in third world countries.

Rotary Grants Awarded
Jenkintown Rotary Distributes $12,000 to Local Charities
A highlight every year at Jenkintown Rotary Club is the presentation of grants to local charities and non-profit organizations. On Tuesday October 29th, the Rotary Club distributed $12,000 in grants. The money was raised by the club’s 51 members at events such as their Annual Pancake Breakfast, Raffles, and Citrus Sales. Grant Committee Chair John DiBenedetto, Treasurer Craig Pollen and Committee Member Chris Heaven presented the checks to representatives of 20 local organizations as well as Rotary International's Rotaplast and PolioPlus initiatives. DiBenedetto told the recipients, "We appreciate your support for our events and fund raisers. It is my pleasure to be able to give you these grants. We look forward to a continuing partnership with each of your organizations.”
