Instructions for Applicants Seeking Financial Support
Applications are accepted no later than August 10, 2018. Requests for emergency grants will be considered as needed. Grants typically do not exceed $1,000.00. Application must be made annually for repeat funding. All requests are reviewed by a committee appointed by the President and approved by the Board of Directors. Funds are generally distributed at a Rotary Club meeting later in the fall.
Review Criteria Successful grants will fulfill the goal of Rotary "…to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise…." Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of: 1. Program/Project fulfills the Rotary Four-Way Test: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? 2. Program/Project Quality 3. Community Impact 4. Ability of applicant to carry out the proposal Eligibility Project/program will take place within one year and will be open and available to the public, or serve a public need.
