On Tuesday, December 27th, Jenkintown Rotary Club held its Annual Charitable Distribution Luncheon at its weekly meeting. $14,000 was given to local charities and non-profit organizations. The money was raised by the club’s 55 members at events such as their Annual Pancake Breakfast, Open Mic Night and Citrus Sales. Club President John DiBenedetto said, "We're all local ourselves and make our livelihoods in the community, so we raise our money from the community to give back," Jenkintown Rotary meets for lunch on Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Grace Presbyterian Church, 444 Old York Rd. in Jenkintown.
