Jenkintown Rotarians met at lunch today to discuss how we can make our club stronger and better serve our community.
These Rotary Membership Retention Tips were passed around and voted on by the members. Numbers circled on the left got 7 "yes" votes or more.
Discussion included reducing our meetings to two times a month (first and third Tuesdays?) and having a social or service event on the months with five Tuesdays.
Some service ideas.
An interesting observation from a long time member: We had 138 members in 1972, four of which were under 30 and four of which were under 40. In 2018 we have 56 members. Average age is 67 years old and average membership is 28 years in Rotary.
